The vaccine producer Sanofi Aventis stated this week that they will donate 100 million doses of the vaccine against the new H1N1 swine flu to the World Health Organization (WHO) for distribution. The Chief Executive officer for Sanofi, Christopher Viehbacher, stated that the organization can then send the vaccines to the countries that need them most if the decision is made to immunize people against this new strain of flu.
